TO THE PARENTS OF ALL DETROIT JUDO CLUB JUNIOR MEMBERS: ATTENTION

You now have an opportunity to get behind all the junior members of the Detroit Judo Club. You are already aware of the many benefits Judo has to your child, I'm sure. Now let's make sure his or her interest doesn't wane.

On April 3, 1965 a group of the parents formed the Detroit Judo Club Boosters, a non-profit organization of persons interested in the promotion of Judo, primarily among the juniors. The purpose of this club is to promote interest among the children and to provide free transportation to any sponsored out-of-town contests. Actual competition is necessary to keep up the youngster's interest. There are several contests around the territory during the course of a year as well as the Nationals this coming July. The dues for a junior member in the Detroit Club are very low and the Detroit Judo Club is unable to provide transportation for the junior members without our financial assistance.

The dues to the Detroit Judo Club Booster have been set at $1.00 monthly or $10.00 annually per family. You can get a full years Membership until May 1 thus making your child or children eligible for the benefits.

If you are interested in sustaining your child's interest in Judo or have any questions contact any of the Booster officers on Saturday, or on Tuesday or Friday evenings at the club.
