Jerry Jackson In 1984, I had the pleasure of spending a couple days
with Jerry and his wife at their home in New Mexico. Jerry and I worked out at the New
Mexico state college judo club. About a month later, they moved to San Diego. |

13th Annual Midwestern AAU Championships,
June 19, 1965

Held at the University of Detroit, the Midwestern was the largest, and
considered the best run shiai in the US. Highlight of the evening: 1965
Olympian and Bronze medal winner, James Bregman takes down a line of five without a break.
